As South Korea’s COVID-19 vaccination rate hit 70.1%, the government announced a gradual socio-economic recovery plan that will kick off on November 1, 2021. Here’s the outline of the first part of the scheme:
|EXISTING MEASURES||LIVING WITH COVID-19|
|1. Restaurant/Cafe||10pm curfew for dine-in||Curfew lifted|
|2. Cinema||Midnight curfew; No food and drinks allowed||Curfew lifted; food and drinks allowed|
|3. Fitness Center||10pm curfew; Shower usage restricted||Curfew lifted; shower allowed; |

Under the new ‘With Corona’ rules, dining at restaurants and cafes will be possible even after 10pm and eating/drinking inside movie theaters will also be allowed.
Time curfew for indoor gyms will also be lifted and usage of shower facilities will be permitted.
As for masks, it is worth noting that wearing of mask is still mandatory indoors and outdoors during this planned first phase.
