Double Discount Event for Hotels in Korea
Get the down time that you deserve and enjoy huge savings on accommodations with WAUG x Booking.com’s Double Discount promotion! Until March 31, 2021, you can book a hotel room or a pension in Korea at a special price and receive 15% rebate (or payback) in the form of WAUG points. Here are the mechanics:
1. Browse eligible accommodations on WAUG
WAUG’s Stay category has thousands of discounted accommodation listings in Seoul, Jeju, Gyeonggi-do, Gangwon-do, Busan, and more. You’ll know that the hotel is eligible for the Double Discount promo if you see the ✔️ 15% Payback logo just above the rate.
2. Book on WAUG x Booking.com platform
As an affiliate of Booking.com, WAUG has a branded microsite of the hotel reservation platform. To receive the 15% payback from WAUG, make sure that you see our logo at the top of the page before proceeding with your booking.
3. Get the confirmation code
Once your reservation is complete, you’ll receive a confirmation code. Copy it on your phone or jot it down for the next step.
4. Fill out the Payback Form
To receive your 15% rebate in the form of WAUG points, fill out this short online form on or before March 31, 2021. It’s only available in Korean, but you can easily translate it to your preferred language using Google Translate or Papago. Some of the information you’ll need to provide are your name, email address, mobile number, and the confirmation code from Booking.com.
5. Wait for the rebate and enjoy your WAUG points
You’ll receive the 15% Payback from WAUG on the 16th day of the following month. (For example, if you apply for a rebate on Feb. 19, 2021, you should see the points credited to your WAUG account on March 16, 2021.) These points can be used like cash for your booking on WAUG, and you’ll be able to use them on any attraction, restaurant, or activity on our platform!
- The promo runs from February 1-March 31, 2021 only.
- The deadline for submitting the Payback form is on March 31, 2021.
- A WAUG account is required to receive the rebate.
